Looks like you are running under SQL2K5. 
I'm running on SQL2K SP4. Version string is 8.00.2039 (as reported by SELECT
SERVERPOPERTY('ProductVersion')).

Could there be a TDS compatibility issue then?

What SQL Server version are you running yours against?
