I understand your concerns. So is the above try-catch behaviour purely
co-incidental and a side-effect. I was thinking of using it temporarily to
workaround the problem till this bug is resolved and a new mono is released. Do
you think I can rely on the side-effect for Mono <= 1.9 ?
