This bug has been fixed in svn trunk, revision 101150 and in the 1.9 branch,
revision 101151. The problem was caused by changes to TypeConverter sometime
between 1.2.6 and 1.2.9, which uncovered a logic flaw in
ObjectFormatter.WriteObject.
