This issue is a show stopper for us.  Our Riva CRM synchronization engine
relies heavily on DateTime (http://www.omni-ts.com/crm-integration/).  We have
a number of sites waiting to migrate from Windows to SLES and this is holding
back all of our rollouts.

We _really_ need this fix to be back-ported to the 1.9 branch.
