The loaded assembly will not replace the mscorlib assembly (it has a different
display name anyway), but it definitely can be loaded. MS has different
assembly contexts (see bug #321202); perhaps this has something to do with it.

If the runtime does not support loading a custom mscorlib assembly, then (g)mcs
cannot support the /nostdlib switch.
