I added some internal logging to see how long it was taking to connect to a
specific IP:Port combo. I print out the number of ms between when i call
beginconnect and when the corresponding EndConnect is called. The default
timeout seems to be 190 seconds or thereabouts.

I'm not sure if this is even a bug, or if it's just default behavior. I
would've expected a 10-15 second timeout to be much more reasonable. I'm going
to work around the problem by calling .Close() on the sockets if they are
pending for more than 10 seconds. I'd be interested in finding out if this is a
bug or not though.
