I don't get the same error on x86, however I noticed that libgif could be
linked even if --without-libgif is specified (because we also check for
libungif). 

This is fixed in SVN (r88270) and I can build libgdiplus correctly with all
--without-{codec} options. Could you please try again on x86_64 ? thanks!
