Hi Gert,

I tested on a default instance (on one of our servers in the office) and had
absolutely no problems connecting (just like you found in your environment),
but when using a named instance (on my local PC) it fails exactly as I
described above.

Unfortunately I don't have a server with a named instance or a local PC with a
default instance to test on.
