this has now ben implemented, though may not work exactly like Silverlight
(needs to be tested).

e.g. Does Silverlight avoid rendering the text until the font is downloaded? or
does it render using the previously specified font until the download
completes?

The current implementation in Moonlight will continue rendering the text with
the previous font until the new font is downloaded successfully.
