The thing is, the error you're seeing occurs when creating the application
host, so it's even before the application actually starts. One of my guesses is
that you might be filling up your /tmp partition and the stamp directory cannot
be created. Or, perhaps, you're having filesystem errors - I would recommend
duplicating your setup on a separate machine and test whether the error occurs
then.
