ok, so new possibility... since I can't be 100% sure how to reproduce the
"image zooms-in and stays zoomed-in even after moving mouse to another
thumbnail" bug (I typically just move my mouse really fast back and forth to
make it happen), I wonder if /maybe/ the problem might be a race between
starting/stopping the storyboard animation
