+I noticed that the text drawn in the notify icon is much larger on 
+Linux than on Windows.

+Also, setting Visible to true before you have assigned an Icon to the 
+NotifyIcon causes no icon to be displayed (even you assigned an Icon 
+later, eg. in the Load eventhandler).
