+Our COM support should only occur if a series of COM specific
+attributes are used. (MS actually performs COM specific features on
+runtime wrappers for COM objects even if the attributes are not
+present, but we are not there yet). Also, this is a pinvoke not a COM
+call so COM features should definitely not be used (unless I
