+I googled a bit and it looks like this is really a buggy ms 
+implementation for reflecting on properties only... (this behaviour 
+is there only for properties, the get_ and set_ methods corresponding 
+to the properties are there) the 'new' keyword doesn't change 
+anything (if I'm not wrong it's only there to remove a compiler 
+warning, it doesn't cause the metadata to change). I think the rule 
+would be that base properties are never returned if there are any 
+derived properties with the same name.
