Summary: Client areas weird in MDI

Description of Problem:
Client areas in MDI windows seem to be getting hosed, depending on how many
controls are layered within the MDI window. This has been happening for a
while, but I think it got worse somewhere between 1.2.2.1 and 1.2.3. There
are several issues, but I'll just highlight one in this report.

I have an MDI window, with several panels, and one of them has a
TabControl. Inside the tab control, is another control with a bunch of
OTHER controls that have a button all with custom functionality. The
client sizes for those controls look to be completely hosed, and the button
itself is being positioned WAY lower than it should be. It seems almost
like the client size isn't taking into account the size of the tab Control
labels or the MDI toolbar or something.

They appeared fine in 1.2.2 and 1.2.2.1, but in current SVN (r71901) and in
the mono 1.2.3 preview, they look hosed. I'm attaching a .tar.gz archive
of screenshots showing the way it looks in .NET, the way it looked in
1.2.2.1, and the way it looks with 1.2.3 and SVN. The fields appear
completely grey, because that's the background to the control, and the
actual button is pushed down a little. If I resize the control large
enough, you can begin to see part of the button.

Sorry, I'm not allowed to release the source code, but if needed, i'll try
to come up with a test case.

Thanks,

Eric
