 I don't follow what you are suggesting needs to be changed.  It looks
 like you are implying that the PATH assignment needs to be removed,
 but that is clearly not an acceptable change.  The reason for the PATH
 assignment is to put all the perl subscripts on the path so they can

+As mentioned above, if I comment out the PATH it works.  If I leave

+Unfortunatly I could not tell why the '$d/../lib/gtk-sharp-2.0:path'
+which expands to '/usr/bin/../lib/gtk-sharp-2.0' would stop it from
+working, unless an older incompatible version of something is being
