 Not exactly the same bug. The problem is that this new behaviour has 
 just appeared on main trunk after solving an issue related to 
 scrollbars... Is the same, but now it is on the trunk

+The same fix solved both issues (at least for me) and wasn't related
+to the scrollbar code. However the visual output of the former bug
+changed after the update to Cairo 1.2.6 (which may have happened at a
