+this isn't a datagrid bug (at least not a datagrid bug specifically.)
+ it seems to affect many controls, or may be an MDI bug.

+if you run winforms/mdi/swf-mdi-formstest.exe, apart from a lot of
+rendering problems for me, ctrl-tab doesn't work very well, and not
+for all the mdi children.
