Can you try using a(n even) more recent version of Mono? 

I recently fixed an assembly culture related issue, and as a result
CultureInfo.CreateSpecificCulture is no longer used by the runtime.

I can't see what may have caused this SIGSEV, but it doesn't hurt to try :-)
