Despite my efforts, I have never been able to compile successfully Mono on my
Ubuntu 7.10 test-box (I'm not a linux expert and I swear I tried, but failed to
compile the dependencies' packages...).
However, since replacing .Get(name) with [name] my code works fine, your
suggested patch will probably work as well, since it's doing the same thing.

Thanks for your quick response, I admit I wasn't really expecting this speed ;)
