The code produces this exception using Mono 1.2.6 Preview-4 (and Preview-1) on
OS X.

On Solaris 10 on SPARC, using Mono 1.2.3, the example works fine (no error
produced).

On Windows XP (32-bit), using Mono 1.2.6, the example also works fine.
