Sorry forgot the specs of the machines. When i reported the problem the first
time around, both machines were running 10.4.11 but recently I updated both to
10.5.1 the g5 is a powerMac 7.3, 2 PoserPC G5 (3.0) procs with 2GB RAM

the macbook one of the oldest ones, 1.85 ghz intel core duo, 1GB

Anything else i could give you that would help you?
