+In monotone the credit animation that fades in and back out has a
+discontinuity in the spline animation keyframe interpolation.  at ~0.76 it
+returns a linear progress of NaN, which causes the text to disappear.
+
+we need to either fix the code (which I downloaded) or write our own.
