+Not sure if this is relevant or not, but on the 1.2.4 where it worked,
+mono --version reports:
+    TLS: normal
+
+but on the 1.2.5p3 where it's broken, mono --version reports:
+    TLS: __thread
+

+Not sure if it's important, but it's a difference.

+Also, both 1.2.4 and 1.2.5p3 where using the system mono and not the
+one included in Plastic.
