+The response stream for a HttpWebResponse is considerably slower for a
+program compiled with gmcs than mcs. In my experiences, I've seen a
+download that would average 500KB/s running at 50KB/s. This seems to vary
+though, as Gonzalo wasn't able to replicate it, but Miguel was.
