 ------- Additional Comments From atsushi at ximian.com 2006-09-20 15:58 -------
BTW, (as I implied at first) if there is no signature creation code,
it is very unlikely be fixed, spending a lot of time to guess the
cause of the remaining issues. At least I will move to another
 EncryptedXml bug for now.

+Sebastien: sorry I must have missed the part where you told me about
+the Mono certificate store. I understand your and Atsushi's concern
+about support the MS certificate store, but that doesn't mean I
+totally agree. We definitely don't want to lock users into Windows,
+but the again we don't want Mono to be an island (on Windows)
+either. Allowing users to access the certificates in the MS sotre on
+Windows and using the Mono certificate store on Linux would have
+been an option, but as Sebastien said: we have to consider
+compatibility too. Let's just stay on topic here, and perhaps
+discuss this some other time.
+
+Atsushi: I originally created the signatures using IAIK, but I'll
+try to reproduce these issue using Mono/.NET created signatures
+tomorrow.
