+Sadly I can't duplicate the bug using HEAD, well I never get a thing
+in the property grid. But I do get an empty Windows at 0,0 that mess
+up with all other modal windows (i.e. hiding large parts of them).

+BTW the HandleSelectedGridItemChanged method in the stack trace has
+some code commented due to bugs in the region code. This is probably
+fixed (that code has many fixes in the last 6 months) or a new
+(region) bug should be filled.
