+since .16 and still in .17.1 mono likes to abort random applications on
+amd64 with the following assertion failure:
+** ERROR **: file mini-amd64.c: line 173 (amd64_patch): assertion failed:
+(amd64_is_imm32 (disp))
+
+A probably not very useful backtrace is at the bottom of
