Summary: [PATCJ] CrossAppDomain regression due to change in BinaryFormatter

In .NET 2.0, the BinaryFormatter.AssemblyFormatter is by default
FormatterAssemblyStyle.Simple while in .NET 1.x it was
FormatterAssemblyStyle.Full.

Due to this change, creation of instances that use types from referenced
assemblies fails, reporting a FileNotFoundException.

To reproduce, compile the attached code snippet using gmcs and run it.

Expected result:

No errors.

Actual result:

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file
or assembly 'System' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find
the file specified.
File name: 'System'
