------- Additional Comments From toshok at ximian.com 2006-10-21 11:45 -------
There was a lot of work on destroy/recreatehandle that didn't make the
1.1.18 tarball. Is there any way you can try with the current svn
head? this works fine for me (after converting the test to c#).

+------- Additional Comments From Ivo at UFO-Net.nl 2006-10-21 15:52 -------
+I just tried the Daily Package. Unfortunately it seems that
+precompiled binaries are only built for windows and the source doesn't
+compile (neither does the stable source, I currently use the official
+binary installation).
+Yesterday evenign I noticed that it runs fine on Windows using MS.Net
+runtime and Mono 1.1.18.
+As I already mentioned before, there was also no problem (at least not
+this one) on Mono 1.1.17 on linux.
+I'll also attach the compiled binary I used to test (using my example
+code).
+
+By the way, the runtime says:
+Unhandled Exception: System.Exception: Visual Basic 2005 applications
+are not supported at
+Microsoft.VisualBasic.ApplicationServices.WindowsFormsApplicationBase.Run
+(System.String[] commandLine) [0x00000]
+
+This is not true. Visual Basic 2005 developpers have to open 'My
+Project' and disable 'Enable application framework'. Everything will
+work fine then. Or should I submit this as a separate bug report?
