+When the scrollbar thumb is grabbed and the mouse pointer is moved away 
+from the (dropped down) list when the thumb is released (mouse up), then 
+the scrollbar thumb is not actually released.
+
+To reproduce:
+1. compile and run the attached code snippet.
+2. follow the on-screen instructions.
