+You need to upgrade all the mono rpms at once instead of individually.

+Grab and unpack the zip file (mono.zip) posted here:

+Unpack them all and then do:
+
+rpm -Uvh *.rpm
+
+I just tested an upgrade from 1.1.13.8 to 1.2 using this method
+without any problems.
