+Attached is a test case that updates 3 statusbar panels 2000 times.
+
+Take a look at the windows/linux screenshot:
+
+It takes 1.9 seconds to run the test case on windows in a vmware virtual
+machine. mwf needs 20 seconds for the same test case...
