+This seems to be the same problem that pdn has (missing ToolBar bitmaps).

+Under some circumstances mwf/sd can't display some icons/bitmaps when
+they are embeded as resource (I tried to find a testcase for that but
+didn't succeed yet).

+In pdn I've added some code to the method that reads the images from
+the resource and that showed me that the images are there and have the
+correct size (only tested != null and for size).

+Rogers exe draws/shows the embeded icon on windows (I've only copied
+the exe file to windows) but mwf doesn't.
