+I just re-tested; the app does not crash with any stream error 
+anymore. Also, the bugs refered to in the original description are

+However, the binary as download from the specified link, will not run 
+either on MS.Net or on Mono, since it doesn't get to the database and 
+crashes. I worked around the crash, now it comes up. Can't do 
+anything with it, but it loads. I will close this bug as it's been 
+lingering for a very long time and it's original subject is fixed.
