+Your example produces the exact same NullpointerException for me.
+MWF is the one bundled with the latest Mono release 1.1.12-1, tested 
+on Fedora 4 and in Windows 2000.

+Linux states MWF assembly as "Revision: 54007; built: 2005/12/6

+Maybe it's already been fixed, have no time to compile form svn for
