+I'm using latest SVN of everything (mono/, mcs/, and libgdiplus/). 
+This is on KUbuntu 6.06 on x86. I cleaned, reconfigured, cleaned 
+again, recompiled, and reinstalled. I still get the same results.

+I tried compiling with and without -debug, no different. I tried 
+running with and without --debug and -O=-all; no difference then

+I'm attaching the binary my gmcs emits in the hopes that will help
