Bug#: 78154
Product: Mono: Runtime
Version: 1.1
OS: other
OS Details: CentOS 4 2.6.9-34.EL i686
Status: NEW

Severity:
Priority: Major
Component: io-layer

Summary: Assertion failed file handles.c: line 887

** ERROR **: file handles.c: line 887 (_wapi_handle_unref): assertion
failed: (thr_ret == 0)
aborting...
./consoleserver: line 1: 5469 Aborted MONO_PATH=../lib
mono --debug ServerConsoleTest.exe

My console application listens for incoming TCP connections, and spawns a
thread to do a SQLite database transaction and return a result for each
one. After running it for about 8 hours, it stops with the above error
message.

I can provide the complete application set, and instructions for running
it, if required. However, I would hate to get a bug report like this
myself, so I would like to narrow things down a bit!

Any hints as to how this assertion might have failed, possible
workrounds, suggestions for debugging procedures, etc. welcome.
