+When you add a large/huge number of items to a ListView the ListView
+performance for redrawing/updating gets really worse.
+
+Attached is a testcase that adds 3000 listview items to a ListView. Use the
+scrollbar to move through the items and you will see that it takes ages to
+redraw/update the ListView. This is even without any images attached to the
+items.
+
+I even got a X error during updating:

+I know that the ListView performance for a larger number of items was good
+some time ago.
