 Yup, you're right. Once I explicitly specify lib/mono/2.0/monop.exe, 
 this works. If I configure --with-preview=yes, shouldn't the symlink 
 in the bin directory point to the 2.0 versions of things (if 
 available) rather than the 1.0?

+This is notabug. Even if you do with preview 1.0 is the default
