+Wait! My fix causes data corruption, possibly because sqlite doesn't
+copy the passed strings immediately. I will look into manually
+marshalling the strings (ideally keeping them as UTF-16 to prevent
+unnecessary conversion) and letting sqlite delete them. Updates as
+events warrant.
