+Updated mono and mcs to svn head again, ran make get-monolite-latest
+and it ran to completion.  installed and tried to compile an app and
+it hung up, 99% cpu like before.  Re-ran make in the mono directory
+and it hung a profile building, 99% cpu.  Attached gdb to it(see below

+I noticed it was waiting on opening some shm file.  I removed the
+entire ~/.wapi directory and now everything seems to be working
+properly.  I've compiled and run a gtk# app under mono and it appears
+to be running quite well.

+I think the bug was the ~/.wapi directory.  Somehow having this around
+from my previous linux install(debian unstable for x86-32) appeared to
