+What mono version are you using ? Also, do you compiled from source,
+or used one of the windows installers ? Also, it is possible that you
+have an old version of glib/mono lying around somewhere and this is 
+causing this problem. Could you run a hello world with the 
+following env var set:
+MONO_LOG_LEVEL=debug
+
+and attach the results to the bug. If possible, attach both the 
+results with MONO_PATH set, and the results without.
