Bug#: 51158
Product: Mono: Runtime
Version: unspecified
OS: unknown
OS Details:
Status: RESOLVED
Resolution: WONTFIX
Severity: Unknown
Priority: Wishlist
Component: misc
AssignedTo: mono-bugs@ximian.com
ReportedBy: carwyn@carwyn.com
QAContact: mono-bugs@ximian.com
TargetMilestone: ---
Summary: Mono mint command conflicts with maple mint command.
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:
The command "mint" is an existing maple CLI command that has been used
since at least maple 7 if not earlier. This conflicts with the mono "mint"
Given that maple is installed at many educational sites which are also very
likely (as we are) to source mono as their C# environment would it be a
good idea to change the name of this command in mono?
------- Additional Comments From vargaz@gmail.com 2005-03-11 16:10 -------
mint is only used on platforms where there is no JIT support. Also,
packagers can rename it as they wish.
