 Description of Problem:
 Connecting to a local MySql database with Connector/Net 1.0.4 works fine 
 on Mono 1.1.4 but fails on 1.1.8.

+Well, if it was with the same mysql dll, chances are, the problem is
+somewhere down the stack. Possibly something to do with sockets? Does
+it work if you run it on Linux?

+Am putting corlib as a guess that the problem has to do with sockets
