+This is a patch that fixes several things in Mono.Cairo that I feel
+are important for staying close to the cairo bindings docs and should
+be done before a mono release with this API happens if possible.
+
+I don't mind splitting it up if that would help any of the bits go in.
+Also, I can update the docs after the changes are agree on.
