Summary: mono.spec fails to build on Mandrake 10.0

Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:
Downloaded the source for mono-1.0. Configured to create mono.spec file.
Copied spec file and source file to /usr/src/RPM/... and proceeded to try
to build. Failed in trying to install profiling library.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. tar xvfz mono-1.0.tar.gz
2. cd mono-1.0
3. ./configure --prefix=/usr
4. cp mono.spec /usr/src/RPM/SPECS
5. cd ..
6. cp mono-1.0.tar.gz /usr/src/RPM/SOURCES
7. rpmbuild -bb mono.spec

Actual Results:
make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/src/RPM/BUILD/mono-1.0/mono/profiler'
/bin/sh ../../mkinstalldirs /var/tmp/mono-root/usr/lib
 /bin/sh ../../libtool --mode=install /usr/bin/install -c
libmono-profiler-cov.la /var/tmp/mono-root/usr/lib/libmono-profiler-cov.la
libtool: install: error: cannot install `libmono-profiler-cov.la' to a
directory not ending in /usr/local/lib
make[3]: *** [install-libLTLIBRARIES] Error 1

Expected Results:
mono rpms.

How often does this happen?
everytime.

Additional Information:
mono.spec is different than the on on the packagers page which is not setup
for 1.0
