+While it would be helpful to have the actual exception pasted as part 
+of the bug report, afaik it is refering to the Wine version of SWF, 
+which is no longer being worked on (and was labeled alpha anyway). We 
+are replacing the old Wine SWF with a rewrite, completely done in 
+managed code. If you want to play with the new version, feel free to 
+check out the CVS version of mcs and compile SWF from 
+mcs/class/Managed.Windows.Forms.
