+I had some trouble building the CVS snapshot since autoconf (Apple
+installed 2.57) choked on some potentially undefined macros.  I decided
+to take the easy route and used the sources of Mono 1.0.  The
+installation went without any problems, so it seems whatever I've seen
+has either been fixed between 0.91 and 1.0 or by upgrading to OS X 10.3.4.
