+When building Mono 0.31 on my GENTOO Linux 2004.0 for AMD64 system I get a
+
+  Making all in x86-64
+  /bin/sh: line 1: cd: x86-64: No such file or directory
+
+error message.
+
+It looks like "make" wants to enter the non-existant arch/x86-64 directory
+instead of arch/amd64.
